As a valued member of the Crowne Initiative Services clinical team, Matthew provides evidence-based, person-centered care that empowers clients to achieve stability, emotional growth, and improved quality of life.

Matthew’s journey in healthcare began at the age of sixteen when he became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) while attending New Horizons Technical School on weekends. His early exposure to caregiving instilled in him a strong sense of empathy, discipline, and commitment to service—values that have guided his career ever since.

He earned an Associate of Applied Science in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) in 2000 and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Visualization in 2002, before dedicating his career fully to behavioral health. Over the years, he has managed residential programs and provided direct care for individuals with severe mental illness and developmental needs, helping to create safe and supportive environments for recovery and growth.

In 2020, Matthew earned his Master of Social Work (MSW) from Walden University and became LCSW-Eligible, reflecting his advanced clinical training and dedication to mental health practice. He continues to expand his expertise in therapeutic methods and community-based behavioral health services.

Matthew is known for his calm demeanor, practical problem-solving, and genuine compassion for the people he serves. He believes in meeting clients where they are, providing encouragement, structure, and understanding throughout the healing process. His work embodies the mission of Crowne Initiative Services — “Healthy Mind & Body, Empowered Life.”

Outside of his professional role, Matthew enjoys spending time with family, exploring new ideas, and finding creative ways to bring humor and positivity into everyday life. His philosophy that “laughter is part of healing” reflects both his personality and his approach to helping others rediscover hope and confidence.
